Mission Statement

To protect infants, children and adolescents from influenza by communicating with “one strong voice” the need to make influenza immunization a national health priority.

 

A leading advocate for childhood influenza immunization

The National Foundation for Infectious Diseases gathered more than 30 of the nation’s leading public health, medical, patient and parent groups to help protect children from influenza. These organizations individually are committed to protecting children’s health and encouraging sustained wellness, and together with “one strong voice,” as the Childhood Influenza Immunization Coalition (CIIC), seek to address and improve low influenza immunization rates among children.
